Maytas Hub is a flexible e-portfolio and learner management tool for employers, training providers, learners, verifiers and assessors. It allows its user's online access to monitor progress and move learning forwards, share resources and feedback on learning already completed.
Maytas Hub acts as a powerful communication tool, connecting the learner with the practitioner and verifier and removing any communication barriers; helping the learner to receive more timely and detailed responses.
Each time a user (you) log into Maytas Hub you must adhere to these Terms & Conditions and the College code of practices for IT security and in line with Data protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
All learners must complete the online induction and will be responsible for the protection of software and data (code of practice) .
All users must use Maytas Hub for its intended purpose only as specified above, and take due precautions in uploading sensitive material, such as applying passwords. Users must not upload derogatory, sexually explicit, offensive or otherwise harmful material.
All information uploaded is classed as student personal data and as such it will be held in line with the College's data retention schedule. The user may request their own data under the terms of the Data Protection Act, noting that there may be a charge for supplying this information.
Users must report any suspicious material or activity immediately to the college's IT department by contacting 0115 9125555 or Ext 55555. Users must not download any suspicious material as this may contain a virus. If users are in doubt they should contact the college's IT department as shown above before taking any action.
The College has the right to monitor use of Maytas Hub to ensure compliance with these terms, and to protect itself and others from fraudulent, unlawful, abusive or suspicious activity. Furthermore users work may be subject to plagiarism monitoring.
In using Maytas Hub you consent to the College undertaking these activities.
The College will take all necessary steps to keep confidential all personal information held within Maytas Hub and will not share information with any party other than the user, college or the employer without the user's explicit consent, except in the interests of criminal or unlawful activity. The user must inform the College at the earliest opportunity any change of personal details.
Users must never share or use another user's password and must also ensure all data is saved before logging off. User passwords will expire upon completion of the course.
Non-compliance, malicious or intentional breaches of these terms and conditions of use may result in Disciplinary or Criminal Action.
